These Savoy Ebonised Door Knobs are a classic and simple example of a traditional Victorian design that has been taken from an original and reproduced to suit a range of period properties.

These door knobs are made from an African Teak, which is stained and ebonished to give a rich, black finish. Both the door knob and the rose have been distressed slightly to give a real aged feel, adding to their authenticity. Please note surface markings should be expected.

The door knobs are Unsprung, so you will need a lock or latch that is suitable for use with unsprung door knobs and has backset of 75mm or more.

Supplied with matching fixings. The screws supplied are hand finished, so please take care when fixing. Always use a pilot drill.

Unlacquered Brass

Slightly distressed initially the brass will continue to age and devlop a patina with time and touch. This can be reinvigorated by polishing with a good quality brass polish.

Polished Nickel

A soft silver finish with yellow natural undertones that can be polished to maintain is lustre or left to age like a natural silver.

Please note the Polished Nickel are finished to order and they retain the same distressed finish as the brass roses, so the surface is not perfectly smooth and markings in the nickel should be expected.
