This Polished Nickel Doctors Knocker is based on a very traditional period design and has smooth, elegant lines. It is cast from real brass before being Nickel plated to give it a highly polished sheen and will provide a lovely feature for many front doors and entrances.

It is said that this type of door knocker was so named as it used to be used to identify a doctor's house in times gone by!

The Polished Nickel Doctors Knocker is attached to a small fixing plate which makes this ideal for doors that have a narrow centre stile.

Supplied with 70mm Threaded Bolt and Dome Head Caps.

Polished Nickel

Manufactured from a solid brass base with a high-quality plating. This finish is bright, reflective, and extremely versatile. When polished, it offers an impressive depth of reflection and has an appropriate place in modern properties, but its warm tones also make it suitable for traditional settings.

Note - Do not use chemicals or cleaning products as it may affect the plated finish. An oily cloth can be used to wipe over the product from time to time to remove any harmful deposits that build up on the surface of your product, this will also aid protection against any environmental elements.

For persistent marks the use of a good quality metal polish for silver finishes can used. Oiling moving parts during installation and periodically afterwards will help to aid protection against exterior and environmental elements.
