This Velo Bathroom Privacy Turn on a Covered Rose is a longer, teardrop shaped turn with softly curved edges, that allows for a good grip. This makes it particularly suitable for children and the elderly. To improve the appearance and give a much nicer look the privacy turn has a covered rose. T

The covered rose is available in 4 styles

Plain, Raised Edge, Reeded or Arc

The Privacy Turn is designed to be used with either a Tubular Deadbolt or a Bathroom Sashlock. The turn part locates inside the bathroom or WC and the emergency release is situated on the outside of the door, this provides a safety mechanism in case a person gets stuck or falls unwell and is unable to get out by themselves. This is particularly useful in homes with young children.

This quality furniture is made from either solid brass or real bronze and available in a wide range of finishes. We are pleased to offer the most popular finishes to buy through our website.

Supplied with a 5mm spindle and matching fixings. The screws supplied are hand finished, so please take care when fixing. Always use a pilot drill.

Living Finishes

Polished Brass Unlacquered, Satin Brass Unlacquered

Intially this finish will have either a highly polished, reflective surface, or a soft brushed matt surface. Once installed touch, time and environment will lead to gradual wear and oxidisation, thus imparting charm and elegance.

Aged Brass, Antique Brass, Light Antique Brass, Smoked Brass, Carbon, Distressed Carbon, Midnight Carbon, Autumn Bronze, Tudor Bronze, Real Bronze Metal Antique

Normal wear and handling will allow the contact areas to reveal the metal below helping to create an aged effect. These living finishes receive a protective wax coating prior to despatch and an occasional application of a good beeswax polish can be applied if required.

Plated Finishes

Polished Chrome, Polished Nickel, Satin Chrome, Satin Nickel, Pearl Nickel

These electroplated finishes are used for both decorative and practical purposes. We apply a thin layer of metal our brass substrate which ensures protection of the base metal and excellent resistance to corrosion and the elements.

Special Finishes - Lacquered

Antique Nickel, Dark Bronze Metal Antique, Deep English Bronze, English Bronze, Zero Black

These special finishes are applied over a brass base and then are finished with either a Matt or Gloss Lacquer. This clear, protective coating minimises the need for frequent polishing.
