This Adam Centre Door Knob is part of the magnificent neo-classical collection inspired by the interiors of the renowned architect, interior and furniture designed, Robert Adam. His work was greatly influenced by his grand tour of Italy in 1755 and this stunning collection draws on his designs to create unique surface features and motifs, along with distinctive edges which really set this range apart from its contemporaries in the period.

Made by the boutique British manufacturer, BrassArt, who has been making fine handcrafted brass furnishings since 1935. They use long established hand crafting techniques so that each of their pieces is truly stunning and of the highest quality. Each piece is cast, forged or machined from solid brass before being hand finished or electroplated.

Living Finishes

Polished Brass Unlacquered, Satin Brass Unlacquered

Intially this finish will have either a highly polished, reflective surface, or a soft brushed matt surface. Once installed touch, time and environment will lead to gradual wear and oxidisation, thus imparting charm and elegance.

Plated Finishes

Polished Chrome, Polished Copper, Polished Nickel, Polished Silver, Satin Chrome, Satin Nickel

These electroplated finishes are used for both decorative and practical purposes. We apply a thin layer of metal our brass substrate which ensures protection of the base metal and excellent resistance to corrosion and the elements.

Special Finishes - Lacquered

Antique Nickel, Antique Silver, Bronze Metal Antique, Dark Antique Brass, Light Antique Brass, Light Antique Copper, Medium Antique Brass, Medium Antique Copper

These special finishes are applied over a brass base and then are finished with Matt Stove Lacquer. This clear, protective coating minimises the need for frequent polishing and cleaning while offering significantly greater durability than standard air-drying lacquers.
