Our Large Nickel Beehive Door Knobs are a larger version of our standard beehive door knob, although they have more of a rounded shape to them. Their larger size makes them perfect for oversized period doors and Entrance Doors.
These Large Beehive Door Knobs are a faithful reproduction of the classic period design. This authentic period feel is more commonly found in Victorian/Edwardian period properties.
They have been made to suit both mortice or rim locks and latches, the roses are loose allowing for one to be removed and the knobs are then secured onto the threaded spindle using a Grub Screw.
The door knobs are Unsprung, so you will need a lock or latch that is suitable for use with unsprung door knobs and has backset of 75mm or more.
Sold as a Pair and supplied with matching fixings. Always make a small pilot drill hole and use a manual screw driver to avoid damaging screws and finish.
