The Hampden Door Handle is a beautiful example of a Late Victorian design, faithfully reproduced from a salvaged original.

The reeding on the face of the door knob, rectangular backplate and crisp linear detailing highlight the period character making it perfect for a range of period properties and restoration projects.

The traditional casting methods and finishing techniques used create a real aged feel, adding to their authenticity. Please note small surface markings should be expected.

The door knobs are Unsprung, so you will need a lock or latch that is suitable for use with unsprung door knobs and has backset of 75mm or more.

Supplied with matching fixings. The screws supplied are hand finished, so please take care when fixing. Always use a pilot drill.

Unlacquered Brass

Slightly distressed initially the brass will continue to age and devlop a patina with time and touch. This can be reinvigorated by polishing with a good quality brass polish.

Polished Nickel

A soft silver finish with yellow natural undertones that can be polished to maintain is lustre or left to age like a natural silver.

Antique Brass

A deep, rich finish, reminiscent of a patina developed over many years, this living finish will continue to age and develop with time and touch.

Dark Bronze

A dark, matt finish applied over the brass base to emulate the richness of an old bronze statue, this living finish will continue to age and patina with time.

Please note the Polished Nickel, Antique Brass and Dark Bronze are finished to order and they retain the same distressed finish as the brass roses, so the surface is not perfectly smooth and natural markings in the finish should be expected.
