These Polished Brass Period Oval Escutcheons will add an elegant finishing touch to your doors and help to prevent scratches to the woodwork. There is an Open Escutcheon for standard mortice locks, a Euro Escutcheon for use with Euro Cylinders and a Covered Escutcheon to help keep debris and draughts out.

Supplied with matching fixings. The screws supplied are hand finished, so please take care when fixing. Always use a pilot drill.

Polished Brass Unlacquered - made from solid, unlacquered brass and have soft, golden hues which offer a depth of reflection. This works wonderfully in period dwellings but can also be used to bring a classic twist to contemporary properties. If left untouched, this finish will oxidise over time and naturally age to create a historically beautiful look.

Note - An oily cloth can be used to wipe over the product from time to time to remove any harmful deposits that build up on the surface of your product, this will also aid protection against any environmental elements. For persistent marks the use of a good quality metal polish can be used. Oiling moving parts during installation and periodically afterwards will help to aid protection against exterior and environmental elements.
