These Aged Bronze Period Oval Escutcheons will add an elegant finishing touch to your doors and help to prevent scratches to the woodwork.

There is an Open Escutcheon for standard mortice locks, a Euro Escutcheon for use with Euro Cylinders and a Covered Escutcheon to help keep debris and draughts out.

Supplied with matching fixings. The screws supplied are hand finished, so please take care when fixing. Always use a pilot drill.

Due to the hand crafted nature of the products all measurements are approximate. These should be used as a guide only.

Aged Bronze - this finish is manufactured from solid bronze containing a minimum of 85% copper. The process used to age the metal results in a very dark, rich, matt appearance. During the final stages of manufacture a durable, matt lacquer is applied to help preserve the distinctive tones

Note - Do not use metal polish or other chemical cleaners as this will result in finish breaking down prematurely. Oiling moving parts during installation and periodically afterwards will help to aid protection against exterior and environmental elements. Due to the matt lacquer coating this finish is not suitable for high traffic areas or coastal locations.
