This Black Robe Pull Handle is a lovely example of hand-crafted door furniture. The Blacksmiths hand plait the rope centre piece and then hand forge the end pieces. Small round knobs for the Large Pull Handle and pyramid ends for the Small Pull Handle. Each mounted onto their own design boss plate. Available in either Beeswax or Black. There are 2 sizes to choose from and each will create the perfect look for either an entrance door or wardrobe door.

Black - Its subtle sheen offers a bold contrast on stained and painted timber alike, and this finish is a popular choice in traditional settings. During the manufacturing process, our Black products are baked in a high-temperature oven, giving them durable, corrosion-resistant qualities. It is extremely low maintenance and perfect for use in bathrooms, kitchens or externally where damper environmental conditions are expected.

Beeswax – is the most authentic finish for steel. After forging, these products are dipped into hot beeswax which allows them to retain their original colours ranging from blue to deep ochre. All our Beeswax ironmongery offers a subtle matt richness and is a more natural, and far softer, alternative to a black powder coated finish. These products offer excellent internal protection when properly maintained. Regular oiling of all moving parts using is beneficial to the longevity of products. This process is also highly recommended during initial installation.

Note - Do not use chemicals or cleaning products as this may affect the finish. Regular oiling of all moving parts using is beneficial to the longevity of your products. This process is also highly recommended during initial installation. An oily cloth can also be used to wipe over the product from time to time to aid protection against exterior or environmental elements.

Black - For any minor scratches that may occur with general wear and tear of your product, there is a durable ‘Black Touch Up Paint’ available – please contact us.

Beeswax - To ensure the finish on your beeswax product always remains at its best, we would advise re-coating your product with a good quality natural beeswax from time to time. This adds further protection to the metal and helps to prevent any rust or white blooms forming. Due to temperature changes or packaging, a beeswax product may occasionally show signs of a white bloom upon opening. This can be buffed with a soft cloth to remove. We would recommend using our external beeswax in areas of your property with high moisture content, such as bathrooms or kitchens. Light surface rust may appear if using our standard beeswax in damp internal environments, but this can be removed with ease.

Sold individually and supplied with fixings. The screws supplied are hand finished, so please take care when fixing. Always use a pilot drill.
